What are my travel costs?
Travel costs very much depend on the destination! For clients more than 3 hours away, I request that my costs be covered (unless told otherwise). Typically that means a two night stay at a budget friendly hotel and a little extra to cover gas. If flying is the best option, I may alternatively request airfare be covered.
Do I only do coastal weddings?
Although they are clearly my favorite, I am happy to photograph all weddings- regardless of the aesthetic or location. I assure you that I will approach your wedding with the same enthusiasm as if I were doing a coastal themed wedding!
How will you receive your photos?
Clients will receive an online gallery of edited images typically within one month from their wedding date or portrait session date. Expect to receive lots of photos! I strive to send all of the good ones as I take, within reason.
What if your wedding has to be postponed due to covid-19?
In the unfortunate event that your wedding must be postponed due to COVID-19, a natural disaster, or any other unforeseen circumstance- I will work with you to make myself available for your new date to the best of my abilities. If I ultimately am not available, I will send a trusted associate photographer to take my place. The associate photographer will hand over the photos to me and I will edit and return them to you so that the photos are consistent with my brand style. I want to give you comfort in knowing that I will be understanding, compassionate, and cooperative if things take a turn for the worst.
What if you book a portrait session out of state?
When you book my wedding day photography services, I give you the option to have me do your engagement, bridal, or bridal boudoir session OR you are welcome to have someone local do your session if that is what you prefer. If you have given it some thought and still wish to proceed with booking a portrait session with me, please note that the same travel cost rules apply. If possible, I will be sure to let you know if I happen to be in the area so that I could spare you the extra costs but your dates/times would be a little more limited to when I am available on my next trip in your area. Otherwise, I ask that you cover a two night stay at a budget friendly hotel and gas/plane costs.
